Welcome to Newport Squash
Rackets Club. This website is intended to help visitors
find us, provide information to
those who want to join and resources for our members to
make their participation in the Club as enjoyable as
possible.
Our Club is very friendly and new members are very welcome
here. We have players at our Club of every age and standard
ranging from complete beginner to world ranking
professional. It doesn't matter if you are male or female,
how old you are or what playing experience you have - we
have something at our Club to help you enjoy the sport.
We participate in the Premier Squash League, South Wales Squash
League and Gwent County Squash League fielding more
teams than any other club in the country. We organise
lots of internal competitions for individuals,
doubles and teams. We also run internal leagues for juniors
and adults.
We were the first club in Wales to appoint a full time
professional squash coach who runs the
finest junior squash skills development
programme around as well as providing individual
tuition, equipment and stringing services.
Our Club is not just about the squash. We have a very
active social scene with lots of
different types of fun events organised throughout the
year. Our fully licensed bar and function room is
available to hire for
private functions.
